Dallas, TX — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is currently in the works of drafting up policies that will require strippers to wear safety helmets when performing routines on poles that are taller than 6 feet.
Exotic dancer, Genea Sky recently went viral after video footage was captured showing her falling from a 20 foot pole while dancing in a strip club in Dallas, Texas.
Due to this video being seen more than 4 million times in conjunction with Genea Sky asking for $20,000 in a GoFundMe campaign to help with medical issues, OSHA has decided to step in to require that strip club owners must mandate that all exotic dancers are to wear safety helmets to prevent future accidents that could cause injury to one’s face and head. Genea Sky states that she has suffered from a fractured jaw, broken teeth, and a sprained ankle.
The new policy by OSHA is expected to go into effect this up and coming weekend. Strippers and strip club owners caught not wearing the proper safety helmets could face fines of upwards $50,000 per violation.
