Walmarts Across the Nation Open Up One Additional Register to Speed Up Coronavirus Panic Buying

Houston, TX — Due to massive panic buying over the coronavirus outbreak, Walmart announced that they will be opening up one additional register to help shoppers move more quickly through checkout lines.

Walmarts across the nation are notorious for having extremely slow checkout lines due to Walmart having on average 20 cashier lines but only 4 cashiers working at any given time. Walmart announced that each store will get an additional checkout line to expedite panic buyers.

Walmart hopes the additional cashier line will cut back on checkout times from 1 hour to 55 minutes.
